State Govt has strictly notified to stop the usage of PVC Flex in government establishments
In Bihar, the State environment, forests and climate change department has sent an advisory to all district magistrates suggesting them to stop use of PVC Flex board in government institutions, banners and posters to reduce the harmful effect on the environment. It is learnt that the notice has been issued by the Union ministry of environment and forests and adviced to use fabric material.
This issue is with regards to the PM’s vision tom implement blanket ban on the use of single-use plastic by 2022.
The representative of Bihar State Pollution Control Board has said that fresh awareness drive will be conducted to induct behavioural change among people in this regard.
