The Passion 2022 will be broadcast from Doetinchem on Thursday evening;the musical spectacle about the Easter story.FE LENN provided the decoration.Commissioned by Mediawater, FE LENN, the events & city dressing division of Faber Exposize, is responsible for the decoration of the stage of this annual event, which this year takes place in Doetinchem.Simone Pronk, manager at FE LENN: “There is not a lot of space at this location to unpack as big as in previous years, so we have made a meager edition this year. The trusses are covered with white PVC frontlit cloth.Because everything is white, isn't it, at The Passion. The trusses are therefore literally wrapped with cloth. We achieved this in a day and a half.”FE LENN was also responsible for the decoration on several previous editions. This year The Passion will also be performed in Germany for the first time, in Essen, Germany.FE LENN was also called in for this.“There is more space here, so we have worked with our own layer frame. This allows us to dress the entire stage very tightly with white PVC cloth. You see a seamless surface and the frame is completely invisible.”A unique feature for FE LENN was that a stepped shape was also decorated with this system.“We normally work with rectangular shapes, so it's nice to experience that we can also make special shapes with them.It looks super sleek, so we were very happy with that.”The FE LENN system is rented out to customers for all kinds of events.Taking care of the decoration in Germany took four days.In the video below, made this week in Essen, Germany, we are working hard on the construction:The Passion tells the Easter story about the last hours of Jesus, played by Dutch artists. This year, Noortje Herlaar, Thomas Cammaert, Soy Kroon, Ruud de Wild, Kim-Lian van der Meij, Sabri Saad El Hamus and Dennis Weening are participating. The musical spectacle takes place annually in the Netherlands on Maundy Thursday. In Germany a day earlier, on Wednesday. The email address will not be published.Required fields are marked with *This site uses Akismet to reduce spam.See how your comment data is processed.I am unable to fill vacanciesLike a kid in a candy store. This is how many sign makers will feel when they enter Messe Berlin. For more 'candy' and contemplation, two objects on the Kurfürstendamm are also worth a visit.Read more →There are signs that the shortages are slowly being made up, but what we have experienced in the market for self-adhesive films in recent months is unprecedented.Read more →
